About

Designing with Empathy and Inclusion
I am a recent Master's graduate of the University of Michigan in the School of Information with a concentration in User Experience Design and Research. Along with my MSI degree, I was awarded a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Graduate Certificate from the Rackham Graduate School. Previously, I was working in training and development as a training specialist using Michigan Medicine's electronic medical records (MiChart/Epic) and as a trainer in the call center environment.

I originally fell into the field of User Experience while working in training and development after experiencing a less that optimal website launch which did not deliver on user's needs. I used my brief solo research to assist in observing users and then helped to implement changes to improve the experience.

In my spare time I enjoy camping during the summer, playing video and table top games, and enjoying time with my two cats.
